I'm not quite sure why my blog gets cranky, but this is an example of its temperament. I could not get this photo to rotate, but I still included it because it's cute!
A few tears were shed...
Group photos are always a must:)
This is the Joseph Smith Memorial Building; the old Hotel Utah. What an incredibly beautiful building! The chapel is used for services.
This is a view from the top of the JSM.
The view inspired a sober reverence.

Hyrum and Joseph Smith
The landscaping is breathtaking.

The inside of the old tabernacle. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir still rehearse and perform here.
A sister missionary demonstrated the design of the building and how it was constructed to provide the audience the ability to listen to speakers without them having to raise their voices. She dropped a pin!
Yes, we heard it!
Salt Lake Temple

Gage's friend Ben was able to meet up with us!
We joked that Bobby's baby portrait was on the wall. That little boy does have Bob's smile! How funny:)
Katherine and Duncan pose in front of the Christus.
There was an art show in the children's museum...
One of my favorite paintings was done by an 18 year old artist. The picture doesn't do it justice, of course, but I still took it to remind me of the striking light effect.
Some of the artists were as young as 12. Loved the comic strip look of this one.
