New Beginnings

Mercedes is in the Young Women's program at church which is the equivalent to a youth group. The other night their leader put on something called "New Beginnings" where they introduce the new girls coming into the program and to review what the program is about and have the girls rededicate themselves to the young women's "values"; faith, individual worth, virtue, integrity, etc. Their leader, Jalyn, had such a cute idea. She did a Pep rally theme. It was so cute. The girls made up cheers and created pennants with the young women's values on them. They also dressed in sports related items. I must say that I am so happy that my children have these types of programs in their lives and more importantly, that they have people, leaders who really care about them!
The girls got to take these frames home...
